Welcome to Bosom Pals !
We are a group of women diagnosed with breast cancer who meet once a month over a cup of tea or coffee to share experiences. Bosom Pals provides a safe and confidential place to gather as a mutually supportive community.
During our meetings, we occasionally have presentations on topics related to breast cancer or we hear personal stories from our own members. A trained counsellor is usually present. From time to time we also meet for dinner, a potluck hosted by one of the members, or for a sporting activity, such as cycling, Nordic walking and golf–to name a few!
Our Bosom Pals community is composed of women of all ages and at many different stages of the journey: long out of treatment, just diagnosed, and those battling recurrence and metastatic illness. Our goal is to provide a warm place of acceptance where women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer can meet others with similar experiences and learn more about obtaining support.
It is the nature of the ‘shared experience’ that provides immense strength to support groups, and having a safe place in which to open up and express feelings can be a huge relief.
The Bosom Pals group meets once a month at the ESCA CancerSupport Drop-in centre (Ecumenical Centre, 150 route de Ferney, 1218 Grand-Saconnex). See our Events page for dates and times.
