Paddle for CancerSupport

Paddle for CancerSupport is a competition, a festival, a cancer awareness event, and a fundraiser open to everyone. It is also the primary source of funding for ESCA CancerSupport and its services.

Taking place the first week of September, the festival is a day full of activities that include face painting, magic shows, a craft corner, a bake and book sale and of course, dragon boat racing!

Corporate Teams

Mixed-gender teams that represent a company or organization. They generally comprise employees and their family members.

Open Teams

Teams organized by the general public. There are two categories of open teams: mixed gender and all female. Open teams are not allowed to have company/school/club names or logos as part of the team name.

The Fundraisers Challenge

There are two ways to win the competition: dragon boat racing and the Fundraisers Challenge. Teams compete by raising funds for ESCA CancerSupport, funds that help provide counselling, specialized fitness classes, cancer awareness, and cancer resources in English for anyone affected by cancer.
