Vaud Coordinator (50%) – We Are Hiring

Join us in developing our work in the canton of Vaud.

Cancer Support Switzerland is expanding in Vaud, and we are looking for someone who can represent us locally and help grow our visibility and partnerships. As our new Vaud Coordinator, you will support outreach activities, work closely with volunteers, and contribute to building a strong, locally rooted presence that serves the English-speaking community affected by cancer. You will report to our director who is based in Geneva.

This is a flexible, part-time role based in Lausanne. You will work from home, with regular in-person meetings and outreach activities in Vaud and Geneva.

This role is a good fit if you:

• Are fluent in English and French
• Are organised, people-focused, and able to take initiative
• Have experience in community-building, partnership development and volunteer coordination in Switzerland, ideally in Vaud
• Are a strong communicator, with the ability to engage a variety of stakeholders and foster collaboration.

·         A proactive, “start-up” mindset with a willingness to take initiative and drive change.

·         Want to contribute to a mission-driven organisation with a professional and human approach

Your:

• Experience in a non-profit environment or health/well-being sector is a plus.

·         Experience with social media platforms and data management tools is desirable.

Details:

• 50% FTE position with flexible schedule
• Remote work with regular in-person activities in Vaud and Geneva
• Start date: to be agreed
• Valid work permit for Switzerland required
