We are a group of women diagnosed with breast cancer who meet once a month over a cup of tea or coffee to share experiences. Bosom Pals is composed of women of all ages and at many different stages of the journey: long out of treatment, just diagnosed, and those battling recurrence and metastatic illness.
Our goal is to provide a warm place of acceptance where women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer can meet others with similar experiences and obtain support.
Bosom Pals provides a safe and confidential place to gather as a mutually supportive community. It is the nature of the ‘shared experience’ that provides immense strength to support groups, and having a safe place in which to open up and express feelings can be a huge relief.
