Zurich Cancer Support Group

A picture of three woman standing in front of a brush. This group represents the Cancer Support Switzerland Zurich Support Group.

The Zurich Cancer Support Group offers a safe, in-person space for anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer to gather, share, and receive support. Facilitated by Counsellor Catharine Viveash and trained Peer Supporters, this group provides a therapeutic environment for connection and understanding.

We are here to listen, talk, support, and hopefully make coping a little easier.

*NEW* This autumn and winter, our Zurich Support Group will explore a different theme each month, offering a safe and supportive space to connect with others who understand the challenges of living with cancer.

Together, we will gently explore:

  • Receiving the diagnosis (27 October 2026)
  • Cancer, identity and values (24 November 2026)
  • Living in your body (15 December 2026)
  • Cancer and relationships (26 January 2027)
  • Living with uncertainty (16 February 2027)
  • Cancer and acceptance (30 March 2027)

You’re welcome to join us for whichever themes feel most relevant to you. Each session is facilitated by a counsellor and creates space for open discussion in a compassionate and confidential environment.
