Zurich Coordinator (60%) (hybrid)
An exciting job opportunity for a dynamic leader to develop English-speaking cancer support in Zurich!
Building on our 20+ years of expertise in the Lake Geneva region, Cancer Support Switzerland is expanding its services to the Zurich region. To lead this effort, we are looking for a Zurich Coordinator to establish our presence and lead the development of our operations. S/he will be the main representative of the organisation in the Zurich region and will lead on partnerships and outreach, and contribute to fundraising and coordination of services.
Our future Zurich Coordinator shares our vision of ensuring that no one has to face cancer alone and enjoys the opportunity to develop an organisation.
Applicants need to be able to demonstrate the following:
- Fluent English and German
- Proven experience in building and coordinating teams and developing an organisation
- Good communication and partnership building skills
- A ‘start-up mindset’ and innovative thinking
- Good time management skills
In addition, previous experience working with non-profits, experience related to cancer, health & wellbeing, as well as expertise in communications and data management tools are all advantages for a candidate.
The role will be mostly remote from home, with outreach and partnership work requiring in-person meetings in the Zurich region. Occasional travel within Switzerland will be needed.
Depending on the growth and development of our operations, there may be a possibility of the role growing in the future.
