How many of us find ourselves in this situation ? Having no idea where to start and what to do next. As an American Certified Healthcare Professional the author was a newly diagnosed victim of breast cancer with a background in health information. She is now a volunteer for an American Breast Cancer Helpline, similar to Cancer Support Switzerland.
The book therefore recounts the author’s breast cancer journey at a practical and emotional level but also defines the medical terms clearly for the lay person as well as encouraging questions and being persistent. Some of them personally resonated with me.
