As part of Pink October, the CHUV Breast Centre is hosting a public conference, “Breast Cancer: New Keys to Diagnosis and Treatment.” Specialists including radiologists, pathologists, surgeons, oncologists and radio-oncologists will present the latest advances in their fields and discuss how care is becoming increasingly personalised. The evening will feature talks, a roundtable discussion with the experts, and the chance to meet partner associations.

Following the success of the first edition, the Breast Center of the Genolier and Générale-Beaulieu Clinic is relaunching its “Wear Pink, Run for the Cause” sports challenge for Pink October, to benefit the Genolier Foundation . With the collaboration of the Nyon Rugby Club and Smove , a training platform designed to do you good, we are joining forces to run not faster, but further!

Ma Bulle Rose together with local organisations are organising “Bougeons avec Ma Bulle Rose”, a 5 km walk and 10 km run on Saturday 11 October in Sauverny, and a charity dinner on Friday 17 October at Jiva Hill Resort in Crozet, combining gourmet dining with fundraising.

World Palliative Care Day: A universal commitment, multiple realities
On the occasion of World Palliative Care Day, the Geneva cantonal network is organizing, under the aegis of Palliative Geneva and its partners the Cantonal Health Office, the HUG Palliative Medicine Service and the Geneva Home Care Institution (IMAD), an public event which will include info stands run, conferences, Apertif and 3 thematic workshops.

In order to provide support for Liz, who has been diagnosed with breast cancer, Nick participated in the Geneva half marathon and successfully raised funds for Cancer Support Switzerland the organisation who had been providing support to Liz and her family.
Raised money to help Cancer Support Switzerland by hiking 7 Peaks in 7 Days.
