We are excited to begin our walking series with a gentle 30-minute loop starting from The Meeting Place (Chem. de Bellerive 23). This short and easy stroll is the perfect way to get moving and meet fellow participants without a major time commitment.
Please join us at 16:45 for an outdoor apero (Bignami). The walk starts 17:30.

We are thrilled to invite you to our kick-off walk that! We’ll be starting at the Cancer Support Switzerland Centre for a beautiful 3.7 km loop at 18:00. If the sun is shining and the group is feeling energized, we may even extend the route a little further! There will be light snacks and drinks to keep everyone fueled, and our official T-shirts and caps for sale.

Community Walk happening during Steps for Cancer Support Fitness Challange – open to everyone
Kick-off walk organized by Cancer Support Switzerland volunteers
Join us for the opening walk of Steps for Cancer Support! We’ll start by the lake before heading through the parks of the Enge district, then gather for a small apéro at Klopstock Cafe Bar to celebrate the start of the challenge. A perfect way to meet fellow walkers and get the momentum going.

Community Walk happening during Steps for Cancer Support Fitness Challange – open to everyone

This walk is organized by AIWC

Our hike will take us from Cartigny Moulin de Vert to Bernex. This is about a 2-hour hike, mostly flat with some downhill through villages and forests.
8:40 Meet Desi at Gare Cornavin, at the entrance to Burger King
8:46 Tram 14, getting off at Petit Lancy, Les Esserts at 9:03
9:05 Bus 42, arriving at Cartigny Moulin de Vert at 9:24

All fares are within the Geneva Zone 10. We will finish the hike at one of the cafes in Bernex.

We’ll be starting at the Préverenges Tennis Club, walking along the water to enjoy the vibrant colors of the Fête de la Tulipe in Morges, before making our way back. It’s an easy, flat route—perfect for a relaxed chat and some fresh air.

This walk is organized by Cancer Support Switzerland volunteers

Our route takes us past the WHO and the US Embassy, through the Jardin de Penthes and the Botanical Gardens, before winding along the Promenade de la Paix and returning to the Centre. The walk will include a 15-minute break by the lake and access to restrooms along the way. Please be at the meeting point a few minutes before we set off.

Great way to add steps to your counter, hopefully among blooming daffodils! Join Marta Szymocha for a 2 hour loop walk (Circuit de Prantin), (200 meters up/down). Wear hiking shoes, bring water, and dress in comfortable layers. We’ll also take a short 10–15 minute break for body activation and warm-up exercises during the walk.

Last day of the Steps Challenge! Loop from Eaux Vives Gare. This is a two hour flat hike on pavement and established trail along part of the Voie Verte and then along the Seymaz and back. We will meet at the 12/17 tram stop in front of Gare Des Eaux Vives at 18:00.
