10:00 Walk with Us: World Cancer Day 2025 in Zurich

Cancer Support Switzerland invites you to a beautiful walk along the Zürichsee to raise cancer awareness in honour of World Cancer Day, highlight our exciting expansion to Zurich, and warm up for Steps for Cancer Support in May.

Whether you join to walk or simply connect over coffee, we welcome members, volunteers, and the Zurich community to join this event.

For the walk, we’ll meet at Bürkliplatz at the statue of the man and the bird. We'll leave at 10:00 for a stroll to Zürichhorn. At 11:00, we’ll gather for coffee and connection.

Together with fellow cancer associations, we are taking part in this year's World Cancer Day campaign by hosting an initiative on the theme ‘Why me? How to find your way.’ This public event, open to all, will feature a free lecture on the topic, followed by an apéritif and open discussions—an excellent opportunity for dialogue and sharing. Full details, including how to sign up, can be found on the World Cancer Day website by clicking on the event heading above.

Please note this event is open to the public and will be conducted mainly in French.

In memory of her husband, Sam raises money for Cancer Support Switzerland by participating in the Spartan Super 10km race with 25 obstacles.
